Three years training in pole, teaching complete beginners through to advanced. XPERT Academy London Levels 3 and 4. 1st place, Advanced category, Kent Pole Championship 2025.

You do not need to get fit before you begin.

Wear shorts and a top

A T-shirt is fine. Some exposed skin helps you grip the pole.

Leave jewellery off

Remove it before class to protect you and the equipment.

Skip lotions and oils

Avoid them beforehand — they make the pole slippery.
